Privacy Policy — Fylunor

Last updated 7 August 2026 · Published by Lyvorian Studio

Fylunor is a document workspace: scanning, editing, PDF tools, OCR and storage. This policy describes what the app actually does with information. Every claim here was checked against the code, not written from intention.

The short version

Your documents stay on your device. Scanning, OCR, compression, signing and every PDF tool run locally — no file is uploaded to us to be processed. Backup, if you turn it on, goes to your own Google Drive, not to a Lyvorian server. We operate one small service, and all it can answer is whether your account has a Pro subscription. There is no tracking and no data selling.

Your documents

Everything you create or import — documents, spreadsheets, scans, PDFs, images, invoices, resumes — is stored on your device, in your browser or app storage. It is not sent to us, and there is nowhere in our systems to put it.

The work happens on your device too. Text recognition (OCR), page cleanup, compression, redaction, password protection and conversion all run inside the app. Some of those tools are several megabytes of code precisely so that your files never have to leave.

Signing in with Google

Signing in is optional. Fylunor works fully without it; you lose backup and Pro, nothing else.

If you do sign in, Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture. We use them to show who is signed in and to attach a subscription to the right account.

Backup to your own Google Drive

Backup is off until you turn it on. When it runs, files go to a Fylunor folder in your Drive. We never receive them.

Fylunor asks for the narrowest Drive permission Google offers — drive.file, which grants access only to files the app itself created. It cannot see, read or list anything else in your Drive, including files you made with other apps.

The Vault

Files you put in the Vault are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM, using a key derived from your passphrase. The key exists only in memory while the Vault is open; the passphrase itself is never stored anywhere, by us or on your device.

That has a consequence worth stating plainly: if you forget the passphrase, nobody can recover those files — not you and not us. Vault files are also excluded from Drive backup entirely, and on Android the screen is protected from screenshots and screen recording while the Vault is open.

The subscription service

We run one small service, and it exists to answer a single question: does this account have an active Pro subscription? When you sign in it receives a Google token proving who you are.

It stores your Google account identifier, your email address, which plan you are on, the store that sold it, the purchase identifier and when it expires. That is the whole list. It has nowhere to store a document — not by policy, but structurally: there is no field for one.

Payments

Subscriptions are sold by Google Play in the app, and by Razorpay on the web. Your card or bank details go to them, never to us and never through the app — we receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded, and the date it renews.

Advertising

The free version of the Android app shows a single banner, supplied by Google AdMob, outside the editors. Google may use an advertising identifier from your device to select it; that is Google’s processing, governed by their policies, and we receive no personal information from it.

There are no ads at all in the web version, none inside any editor, and none anywhere if you subscribe to Pro.

What Fylunor never does

Deleting your data

Deleting a file in the app removes it from your device; it sits in Trash for 30 days first, and Storage → Deep clean erases it immediately. Uninstalling removes everything local.

Files already backed up stay in your own Drive until you delete them there. To remove your subscription record from our service, email us and we will delete it — it is one row, and it goes.

Children

Fylunor is a productivity tool for general audiences and is not directed at children.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Because we hold so little, these are quick to answer. Write to the address below.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what happens to your information, the date at the top changes and the app tells you. Corrections to wording are made quietly.
