Fylunor
A document workspace that keeps your files where they belong — on your own device.
Most document tools work by sending your file somewhere. You upload a PDF to compress it, or to sign it, or to pull the text out of a scan — and your document is now on a server you do not control. Fylunor is built the other way round: the work happens on your device.
Scanning, text recognition, page cleanup, compression, redaction, password protection and conversion all run inside the app. Some of those tools are several megabytes of code precisely so that your files never have to leave.
What it does
- Scan and clean upCapture a document, straighten it, and tidy the page without it ever being uploaded.
- Read text from scansOptical character recognition runs locally, so the page never leaves to be read.
- A full PDF toolkitCompress, convert, protect with a password, redact and sign — all on your device.
- Editors for real workDocuments, spreadsheets, invoices and resumes, alongside your scans and images.
- The VaultFiles encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM, using a key derived from your passphrase.
- Backup you ownOptional backup to your own Google Drive — off until you turn it on.
Where your documents actually are
Everything you create or import — documents, spreadsheets, scans, PDFs, images, invoices, resumes — is stored on your device, in the app's own storage. It is not sent to us, and there is nowhere in our systems to put it.
- No file is uploaded to us to be processed
- Backup, if you enable it, goes to your own Google Drive — not to a Lyvorian server
- Fylunor asks Google for the narrowest Drive permission available: access only to files the app itself created
- It cannot see, read or list anything else in your Drive, including files made with other apps
- Signing in is optional — Fylunor works fully without it
- No tracking, and no data selling
The Vault, and one consequence worth stating
Files you put in the Vault are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM, using a key derived from your passphrase. The key exists only in memory while the Vault is open, and the passphrase itself is never stored anywhere — not by us, and not on your device.
That has a consequence worth saying plainly: if you forget the passphrase, nobody can recover those files — not you, and not us. Vault files are also excluded from Drive backup entirely.
What it will cost
Fylunor will have a free tier and a Pro subscription. Pricing is not settled yet, so there is no number here to quote — when it is decided it will appear on this page and in the app before anything is charged.
The free tier is advertising supported: the Android app shows a single banner, supplied by Google AdMob, outside the editors. Google may use your device’s advertising identifier to choose it, which is the one place Fylunor involves a third party in something you see. Pro removes the banner. Subscriptions are sold by Google Play in the app and by Razorpay on the web, and Pro follows you across both. The privacy policy sets out what that identifier is and is not used for.
Privacy
Lyvorian runs exactly one small service for Fylunor, and all it can answer is whether an account has an active Pro subscription. The full Fylunor privacy policy spells out what is stored, what leaves your device, and what you can switch off — every claim in it checked against the code rather than written from intention.
How it's built
Built by Lyvorian Studio with the same priorities as Finance Tracker and Habit Kramedha: clarity, privacy, and nothing shipped until it holds up on real hardware rather than on the development machine. What that rule costs in practice — including the feature that got deleted instead of optimised — is in Built the hard way, and where Fylunor sits in the queue is on the roadmap.
